On Thursday, i woke up at 8am, got dressed, did the usual things, and then my father drove me to school. All the string orchestra members met outside the MEP room. We were supposed to meet in the mep room but it was locked...so everyone waited outside until Olivia came to open the door. After we put our things down, the orchestra asked all the sec 1s to finally join the big group and play with them. That was the first time i played in the orchestra. That was also the day that i knew that i had a lot of catching up to do. When they gave me the score of the song that they were going to learn, it looked soo easy. But when the orchestra started playing, i just stood there like a retard trying to figure the notes out. The conductor set the tempo so fast for what!?! Anyway, the first 3 lines of the song (soap in A string) was just plucking so i could manage that. But when we had to bow again, i mislooked the arco sign and continued plucking the notes whereas all my seniors were already bowing. SO EMBARRASSING. It was until my senior pointed out to me my mistake that i started to bow. By then, i forgot where i was looked all over the score to find which part the orchestra was playing at that time. But luckily, when the basses had to rest while the other intruments continued playing, my senior pointed to the score and told me where they were playing and counted the tempo for me. She was so nice to me lor!! after that i could play a few bars but then got lost again. My senior (which is only sec2 but very pro) counted with me the tempo again and pointed to me where they were playing. because at that time, bass had a four bar rest, my senior (aiya, i just use her name lah) Ying Tong had time to explain to me how to play. Then she explain and count to me until she also lost, so for the rest of the song (which was fortunately going to end), both of us stood there like retards. So all in all, i only played about 1/4 of the song. thats a bad starting. after orchestra practice, we went to play games. We played whako, poison ball, captain's ball and bla bla bla....After that, we went to go and bathe. Isobel forgot to bring body foam so i had to slide it to her through underneath the door while waiting for her outside to finish bathing. after that, i also went to bathe. Jan was in the cubicle next to me. For somereason, my shampoo was too thin so Jan slid her shampoo through underneath the door to me. After i finished using the shampoo, i slid the shampoo back to Jan. then after i rinse finish, i came out. Jan was still inside cos she dropped her new shirt on the wet flooded floor. poorthing. she had to wear it all day cause she had nothing to wear. next was election timme. the sec 3s made their speeches and asked us to vote for them to be president, vice-president and so on. that was boring. very boring. at the same time, i also noticed that i forgot to bring to bring my toothbrush. so later when the whole orchestra went to mc donalds to eat, i also went to guardian to buy a travelling tooth brush. at mac, i ate mc spicy meal. so did Jan, Lilin and Jasmine. the mc spicy was too much for Jan so she ate until she cried.after that, me and lilin ate mc flurry. then the whole sec one went 7-11 to buy titbits for the movie later. we went back to school at 8pm and chose 2 movies. the forst one was enchanted. it was not bad lah quite nice. the other one was the Perfect Man. that was nicer. in the middle, we all went to toilet and to brush our teeth. it was ver late by then. the school was so dark! very scary. then dono who go and keep screaming. i think it was Isobel or Valerie..not so sure who. AND on top of it, Angela told me before the holidays a hell lot of XXXXX stories of the school that i was so scared! THANKS A LOT ANGELA AND ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO KEPT SCREAMING AND SWITCHING ON AND OFF THE LIGHTS OF THE CORRIDOR. When we got back to the mep room, we got done with our movie and went to sleep. miss quek slept with us too.such a nice teacher:). the next day, which was today, we ate cereal for breakfast. then went for orchestra practice. it was not as bad as yesterday. i didn't got lost and i played 1/2 to 3/4 of the song. and then the conductor kept picking out mistakes from the viola section and asked them to stand up one by one and play it for him. poor things. whoever played wrongly had to stand up until she got it right. lucky i never play viola..well, after orchestra practice, we went home. haiyo. so tired. and caght a cold too. just finished showering at home. i got to go so post another time. buh bie =D
